Andy has twenty years experience at Director level in general management, business development and project management. He has specialist commercial management expertise in infrastructure PPP/PFI/project finance and has worked with public and private sector organisations in the areas of property, education, health and the environment. He is a founder shareholder and Director of acumen7.

• In 2001, successfully established own strategy, business development and PPP/PFI business providing strategic, acquisitions, development and private finance advice and support to Boards, Chief Executives and senior management.
• Prior senior positions in general management, project management and business development with:
  Pell Frischmann Group - Business Development Director (1995 to 2001)
  South West Water - International Projects Director (1991 to 1994)
  ASW - Director and General Manager (1989 to 91)
  Costain - General Manager (1985 to 1989)

Achievements include:

• Leading major multi-million national and international private finance projects and ventures under PFI and PPP structures and undertaking commercial management roles, including negotiating new business and developing new markets for Pell Frischmann.
• Developing start-up and joint venture businesses for South West Water and ASW, including the launch of new products and services
• Developing and implementing strategies for growth and improving operating efficiencies as general manager of a £10million business for Costain.
