Skill detail, track record and services provided
Peter is working with the small team of Directors at the Small Hydro Company to develop and operate run-of-the-river hydro electric schemes. He also works with the Directors of Kepler Energy to commercialise the THAWT turbine (details on company website). These jobs bring together his engineering background together with his economics and strategy skills. He has consulted extensively with a number of large City law and accounting firms on strategy and change issues, following his time as Global Strategy Director of Deloitte. During his tenure, the management team developed and implemented a strategy which caused the firm to grow faster than its Big 4 competition and become highly profitable.
His business strategy consulting career spanned 20 years, during which he worked with major companies such as Shell, ICI and Pilkington. His particular areas of specialisation were in shareholder value management and international competitive strategy. He was a co-founder of the London office of Braxton Associates, which was acquired by Touche Ross, the firm which subsequently became Deloitte. His experience with International Paint following his time at business school gave him an excellent grounding in pragmatic management.
Peter is Chair of the London Business School Donors’ Foundation and President of the High Performance Club.
